Hey there! Summer is coming to an end and we are ready to cozy up and get stuff done. There’s a lot to catch you up on this month, so let’s get into it!
Max is this close 🤏 to being finished! We took the extra time to figure out the best way to approach his facial rig, and boy was it worth the effort! He’s extremely easy to work with, fast, and the resulting expressions have an appealing, fleshy feel. We can say with confidence that Max is better than any feature level rig we’ve ever worked with. Just wait till you get your hands on him and see for yourself! In the meantime, check out some expressions we’ve created to show you what’s possible:

MAYA AND THE THREE
It’s finally here! The long awaited teaser trailer for Maya and the Three, an epic series made entirely in Blender, is now on YouTube. We are proud to say that our entire team has contributed to the look of this stunning show. It’s coming out on Netflix in November, so do not miss it!
WHAT'S HAPPENING NEXT MONTH
As soon as Max is finished, we’ll be going full steam ahead with May, modelling the spaceship set, recording rig tutorials and creating storyboards for a cinematic intro that will knock your socks off! :)
